- FY08 PTCS Projects
- DOE Gen IV Reactor Materials
- A multi-year Cooperative Agreement with the DOE for the Generation IV Reactor Materials project. The scope includes development of technical basis documents necessary to update and expand codes and standards for application in future Generation IV Nuclear Reactor systems that operate at elevated temperatures.
- NDE Project
- The DOE-sponsored project involves investigation and evaluation of advanced NDE techniques for composite materials in hydrogen infrastructure applications. Work includes development of a Hydrogen Tank Health Monitoring System.
- NREL H2 Technical Reports
- A series technical reports presenting relevant data from composite tank industry experience and addressing design factors and end-of-life fatigue testing for high-pressure gaseous hydrogen composite tanks used in stationary, transportable, portable, and mobile applications and supporting ASME’s proposed design factors. The technical reports will establish data and other information to be used to support and facilitate development of standards, including recommendations on testing to validate requirements. The reports will serve as the technical basis for the development of draft standards or refinement of existing standards.

- BPE Disposables Project
- ASME ST-LLC and Institutes Emerging Technologies continued work on a cross-functional project to develop and publish “Best Practices and Guidelines for Disposables Technology” in the biopharmaceutical market.
- NDE Performance Database Pilot Study
- A project to develop a sample database of NDE performance demonstration results.
